Want to start a new business? Need some guidance about setting up as self-employed? This session will be run by Princes Trust and aims to breakdown any barriers or concerns around registering officially as a business.

Their specialist staff will explain:

  • What HMRC does.
  • What income tax is, and who pays it.
  • When and how to register a business or as self employed with HMRC.
  • Who has to pay which classes of National Insurance, and when.

This event is suitable for anyone aged over 18 who is exploring or intending to start trading.

Our Speakers

Princes Trust work with 18 to 30-year-olds to turn big ideas into a business reality through their Enterprise programme. They offer a four day interactive Enterprise course, up to three years mentoring, and access to funding. From training and mentoring support to funding and resources, they’re with you every step of the way.
