So many entrepreneurs have a great business idea, a fantastic pitch and business plans that crumble under scrutiny. But it doesn’t have to be like this! This workshop is designed to allow you to break your business model and rebuild it into the confident and persuasive plan that you believe it should be.

The business model is the key to the success and failure of any ambitious business and any Start-Up or Scale-Up going for funding, sourcing suppliers or pitching contracts is going to have their business model tested. This practical workshop will focus on your business model, the business plan and the entire ecosystem that supports your ambitions. Through a very structured approach, you will be led through a process to uncover the hidden dangers, weakest links and soft spots in your plan – in a friendly, interactive and constructive manner.

Participants will learn how to:

– Rebuild a strong business plan

– Gain confidence ahead of any pitch

– Become stronger in defending their vision

About our speaker

Assim Ishaque started his career with HSBC after graduating with a degree in Accounting & Finance and went on to a career in sales in FMCG and Telecoms before establishing his own company 17 years ago. From here, Assim has created an energy and sustainability consultancy for corporate and government clients.

He invented two patented products that raised over £1million of funding, took them through the commercialisation process and kept 100% of the equity. He is now leading the commercialisation of research led businesses activities at Birmingham City University.

More importantly, he has learned the secrets of success from his own failures, and is willing to share them, and this experience, with you.
