We invite you to attend our opening tours of STEAMhouse as we’re opening our shiny new doors very soon!

You will find out all about the range of support that’s available – meet the team, explore the amazing new space and take a peek at all the equipment and workshop facilities in the Production Space, Incubator Space and more.

We will also inform you about members-only benefits including the STEAMhouse Community website and collaboration opportunities.

We will reveal our plans for how STEAMhouse will be integrating business, learning, and research and you will be one of the first to see how we have transformed an old bicycle factory into a future facing innovation campus for the region!

If you are a new or existing STEAMhouse member, come and take the tour so that we can answer any questions you may have and explore what our new space has to offer you.

You will also get to learn more about what your membership package includes, which new spaces you’ll have access to and you will be able to learn more about how our other membership types, such as Artist Studio membership and Affiliate membership , can benefit you.

This is a great opportunity to meet some of the other members in person and take a look behind the scenes, before the official opening of our new home takes place.

There are currently six dates available – we are expecting that they fill up fast so book now to avoid disappointment.

We look forward to welcoming you into our new home.

This course is for SMEs in the West Midlands only. It runs for 4 hours each on Thursday 7th, 14th, and 21st July.

About this event

Objectives

Organisations in the built environment, construction and property related sectors need to react to ambitious targets to reduce Carbon emissions. This affects their own way of working as much as the products or services they provide. The need to measure, monitor and evidence such reductions, makes good data and the skills to interpret it essential. This course gives you the opportunity to build the right data skills.

The 12 hours course, delivered by Birmingham City University (BCU), will provide an introduction to the concepts of data analytics and the use of machine learning. Led by expert trainers, you will then apply these techniques on real life data sets.
